Aesthetic Outcomes Audit Phase 3
This survey consisted of an anonymised series of 65 images of children aged 5 years who had all undergone unilateral cleft lip and palate repair in the first year of life. They had all undergone their repairs within one of the tri-centre units 2000-2005.
Each image was cropped with a polygonal crop just to show the nose and both lips. For each of the 65 images respondents scored the patients aesthetic appearance of their nose and lips together using a 1-5 scale. The scale is shown below.
